1m lei for builders working in flood-hit areas

The Government redirected the money saved when purchasing homes for flood-hit families to paying for the construction works performed in the areas affected by floods, Info-Prim Neo reports. Deputy Minister of State Anatolie Onceanu said that only 7.5 million lei of the third tranche of 8.6 million lei was used to buy houses for flood victims. The rest of almost 1 million lei is to be transferred to the Ministry of Construction and Territorial Development for paying for the works to build houses for flood-hit families. According to the Government, 421 homes were erected in the flood-hit areas. Another 290 homes are 75-95% ready.
