2011 Youth Prize contest opened

The Ministry of Youth and Sport launched the contest for the 2011 Youth Prize that is awarded for special accomplishments in the cultural-artistic, technical-scientific and civic areas, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the Ministry. The Youth Prize is given both to an author and a group. The works for participation in the contest must be assessed by the Examination Commission and approved by the Ministry’s Board. The winners will receive medals, diplomas showing that the person holds the title of Laureate of the Youth Prize, and money awards. According to the Ministry, the contest aims to promote and support the young people and youth organizations by cultural-artistic, technical-scientific and civic activities. The applications must be submitted to the Youth Program Division of the Ministry of Youth and Sport by October 14.
