23-year-old man sentenced to 12 years in jail

The Cahul District Court sentenced a 23-year-old man to 12 years' imprisonment for premeditated murder, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to a press release from the Prosecutor General's Office, the man murdered his friend during a drinking binge, after hitting him with a log and other objects at hand. The murdered man was 54 years old. Previously the man was sentenced to 2 years in prison.
