Owing to the unfavorable weather conditions, 284 villages and towns in southern and central Moldova do not have electricity. A number of 98 specialist teams are working on the sport to reconnect the consumers to the power supply, IPN has learned from the General Inspectorate for Emergencies.
Trucks are not allowed to travel on the Anenii Noi – Causeni – Palanca road due to the thick layer of snow there. The Balti – Floresti road is hardly passable.
Seven border crossing points and customs posts in southern Moldova stopped work. The access road to the internal checkpoint “Harbovat” is blocked, while the road section between Bender municipality and Bulboaca village is impassable in parts.
