More than 18,000 vignettes (road tax certificates) were issued during the last week alone. These brought 3.8 million lei into the state budget, the Customs Service of Moldova has said, quoted by IPN.
In the period, there were recorded more than 40 cases of contraventions and imposed fines totaling over 414,000 lei.
The state border was crossed by over 120,000 units of transport. The traffic was more intense on the Moldovan-Romanian border, with Leuseni and Sculeni being the most popular customs posts, with over 20,000 and, respectively, 18,000 crossings.
