404 cases of trafficking in persons recorded over nine months

As many as 404 cases of trafficking in human being have been recorded in Moldova during nine months. 153 of the 235 cases sent to court have been examined, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office. 170 persons of the 188 charged in cases of trafficking in persons were convicted. Six persons were acquitted. The prosecutors filed 40 applications, demanding that the groundless decisions be quashed.
