65-year-old killed in fire caused by burning cigarette

A man aged 65 from Alexandru Ioan Cuza village of Cahul district died in a house fire caused by a burning cigarette. Liliana Puscas, spokeswoman for the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, has told Info-Prim Neo that the flames destroyed the furniture and other objects in the room. The roof of the house burned completely. During the last 24 hours, the firefighters have dealt with five fires.
