80-year-old woman cuts her veins open

A woman aged 80 Tuesday tried to kill herself by cutting her veins open. She was rushed to the Emergency Hospital and operated. She explained she wanted to get sooner to the husband who died recently, Info-Prim Neo reports. At least ten persons in Chisinau, mostly men aged about 50, suffered strokes and heart attacks on Tuesday, October 12. They will all have the first disability degree, Chisinau Ambulance Service managing doctor Eufalia Negreata has said. A 50-year-old man died suddenly at his villa in Truseni village, while another one aged 60 died while climbing up the stairs of his house. The same day, a woman discovered her husband of 49 dead inside the house. Yesterday and last night, the Chisinau Ambulance Service responded to 700 calls, dealing with 50 cases of trauma, eight strokes, two heart attacks and 30 deliveries.
