A H1N1 flu virus causes tenth death in Moldova

A 43-year-old man who was infected with A H1N1 has died. He was from Hanta village of Ialoveni district. The man went to see a doctor too late. He wasn’t vaccinated and formed part of the groups of people who are more at risk of developing the infection, Constantin Spinu, vice director of the National Public Health Center, has told Info-Prim Neo.
According to the doctor, the man was admitted to the hospital in Costesti and was then transferred to Chisinau. He was diagnosed with severe pneumonia and sugar diabetes.
Constantin Spinu also said that the A H1N1 morbidity in Moldova has decreased, but the risk of catching the infection will persist for two more weeks.
