About 900 persons got pandemic flu in Moldova

The pandemic A (H1N1) flu virus has been detected in another 188 persons. The persons infected with pandemic flu in Moldova now total 888, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the National Scientific Practical Center of Preventive Medicine, 1,774 suspect cases of pandemic influenza have been reported by Monday morning. The presence of the virus was confirmed in 888 cases. Four men and three women have died from pandemic flu in Moldova so far. The first victim, a man aged 50, died in the Municipal Hospital No. 1 in Chisinau on October 23. On November 3, a 35-year-old man died in the Drochia district hospital. A man aged 46 from Ceadar –Lunga died in four days, while a woman aged 53 died in the same hospital on November 10. The fifth fatal case was recorded on November 12. A man aged 55 died in the Orhei District Hospital. A 31-year-old woman from Falesti and a 46-year-old woman from Chisinau died on November 13. All the persons who died consulted the doctor too late.
