A tractor overturned, while a car ended up in a ditch after the two vehicles collided on the Chisinau-Soroca road, not far from Gura-Camencii village of Florești district. The car was driven by a 49-year-old employee of the Florești Police Inspectorate, IPN reports.
The Inspectorate said the policeman was outside his working hours. Driving an Audi car, under unknown circumstances he struck from behind a MTZ tractor driven by a man aged 47 from Florești district.
As a result of the collision, the tractor overturned. The two drivers needed medical care and were taken to the Florești District Hospital.
An investigation is under way.
