Activists of the Party of Socialistic of Moldova mounted a protest against the high heat charges in front of the Chisinau City Hall. They also protested against the system for distributing social benefit, saying it is inequitable, discriminatory and bureaucratic, IPN reports.
The protesters transmitted two petitions to Mayor General Dorin Chirtoaca and the Chisinau Municipal Council, asking immediately creating a special commission that would examine the activity of SA Termocom and would review the heat charges for end-users and the procedure for providing cold-month allowances to socially deprived groups.
