AEI intends to rig elections, Communist MPs

Communist lawmakers Sergiu Sarbu, Artur Reshetnikov and Inna Supac went to the March 16 special sitting of Parliament. They asserted the ruling alliance plans to rig the presidential elections, Info-Prim Neo reports. “The reason why we came to this building today is that the power is usurped, while the Constitution and the legislation are ignored in Moldova. Today we witness a new farce that is called the election of the President. They prepare to fix the elections. Therefore, the Communist parliamentary group delegated representatives to supervise the acts of the alliance,” said Artur Reshetnikov. The Communist faction announced they will not take part in the elections because the current legislative body is illegitimate. In the afternoon, the Communist Party will mount a social protest march against the Alliance for European Integration.
