Aircraft fire simulated at Chisinau Airport

Personnel at the Chisinau Airport, airline staffers and rescuers will practice disaster response skills during a fire trainer on Thursday, Info-Prim Neo reports The scenario is that around 10:00AM a TU-134 plane with 65 passengers on board catches fire during fueling. Passengers escape through the emergency exits, but 15 of them sustain head and limb injuries. 60 rescuers, including firefighters and paramedics, will be involved in the trainer. The Airport announced that the simulator will not affect flights. Throughout the trainer, passengers at the Airport will be periodically notified that this is not a real incident.
