The candidate for mayor general of Chisinau municipality on behalf of the Political Party “Casa Noastra-Moldova” (“Our Home – Moldova”) Alexandr Roshko submitted the documents required to be registered as a runner in the May 20 elections, IPN reports.
Alexandr Roshko said he decided to run because he can no longer tolerate the wrongdoings in the county and the city. “The residents of Chisinau are tired of functionaries’ lies and need something concrete and positive. Our program is positive, optimistic and less ordinary. As a party of the left and having the people and society as a priority, our proposals are all centered on the interests of the people and society,” stated the applicant. He noted the rooting out of corruption is another goal of his.
Earlier today, documents to the Chisinau Municipal District Electoral Council were submitted by the Liberal Party’s candidate Valeriu Munteanu, chairman of the Party “Democracy at Home” Vasile Costiuc and the common PPPDA-PAS candidate Andrei Nastase. Independents Sergiu Tofilat and Maia Laguta went to the Council to ask for the subscription lists. They have to collect by at least 10,000 signatures in their support.
