The Ministry of Labor, Social Protection and Family suggested increasing the annual transport allowance provided to persons with locomotors disabilities by 100 lei, from 700 to 800 lei, IPN reports.
A number of 12,500 persons receive now such allowances.
Financial resources for covering these allowances were earmarked in the allocations transferred from the state budget to the budgets of the territorial-administrative units, approved by the Government decision of December 2014, taking into account the proposed rise.
