Children and young people without parental protection, who choose to continue their studies in educational institutions abroad, will receive allowances from the state. These will be granted monthly for maintenance and rent.

Also, the state will provide financial support to cover the costs associated with the last year of study, but also a one-time allowance upon graduation from the educational institution. On the initiative of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, the Cabinet approved a draft decision in this regard, IPN reports.

According to the Ministry, the initiative complements the current legislation and aims to ensure equal conditions for all children and young people who remained without parental protection, regardless of whether they continue their education in the country or abroad.

The decision will enter into force on September 1, 2025.
