The Government reduces the number of paid internship hours in the public service from 720 to 480. According to the Government’s Secretary General Artur Mija, this will reduce the time needed to train and adapt trainees and will allow faster integration of young specialists into the work of public authorities, IPN reports.

At the same time, the young people can be included in the trainee reserve corps and will be considered for vacancies in public authorities.

The list of institutions where traineeships can be carried out and the number of paid traineeship places in the civil service are extended. For the next edition of internships, between May and June, 150 places are planned.

Artur Mija argued that more and more young people are interested in the Government’s Internship Program and these changes will further increase the attractiveness of the public sector.
