The ninth edition of the American Film Festival will take place at the Odeon Cultural Center from April 24 to May 1, 2015. The entrance to all screenings is free of charge, IPN reports.
According to a press release of the U.S. Embassy, the theme of this year’s American Film Festival is “American South”. The festival will feature fifteen American movies of a wide range of genres (drama, action, adventure, comedy, and family) to appeal to many different people from various age groups.
Ambassador James D. Pettit will open the festival on Friday, April 24 at 6:00pm.

All fifteen movies will be screened in English, with Romanian subtitles.
