Anastasia Lazariuc to become People's Artist

Mayor General of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca instructed the Culture Division to prepare the documents needed to confer the title of People's Artist on singer Anastasia Lazariuc, Info-Prim Neo reports. During the national revival period, Anastasia Lazariuc together with other famous singers promoted the Bessarabian culture in many countries of the world. She sang songs composed by Petre Teodorovici, Ion Aldea-Teodorovici and Mihai Constantinescu. On May 12, Anastasia Lazariuc, who settled in Romania, will give a concert at the National Palace, as part of the Europe Days organized by the City Hall in Chisinau.
