The deputy chairman of the Democratic Party Andrian Candu said the party will continue the discussions with the PL and PPEM in the afternoon of November 5. Andrian Candu is convinced that they will advance the negotiations and make arrangements for a future coalition in these meetings, IPN reports.
“Today we will have discussions with the traditional partners from the pro-European coalition. We will see what next steps should be taken to make progress in forming a parliamentary coalition. There are different views, but I’m sure that these parties will make the state interests a priority, not the party interests, as the Liberal Democratic Party did. Solutions will be identified by wisdom and political calculations,” stated Candu.
He announced that the PDM will also have new consultations with the Party of Communists. “I’m sure that we will find solutions to form the government, even if the colleagues from the PLDM do not take part. The decision taken by the Liberal Democratic Party is to the detriment of Moldova and our European integration course” said the Speaker.
Candu noted that all the development partners of Moldova called on the pro-European parties to make effort and form a parliamentary coalition.
