Angela Merkel arrived to Chisinau

Angela Merkel has landed at the Chisinau International Airport at 2:20pm, a bit earlier than planned. The German Chancellor travel with an Airbus A345, German State Aircraft, and is joined by a delegation of 50 people, made up of officials and journalists, reports Info-Prim Neo. Angela Merkel will commute around Chisinau in a bulletproof vehicle, which has no license plates, specifically rented for the visit of the high-ranking official. The road from the airport to the City Gates is packed with policemen and carabineers, standing at a 5 meter distance from each other. Angela Merkel is on her first visit to Moldova. The German official’s visit will end at 9:00pm. She is to meet the top tier leadership of the country and the leaders of Parliamentary Parties. At 6:00pm she will give a speech at the Republican Palace, which will be broadcasted live, on the screens installed in front of the Palace. Before leaving the country, Angela Merkel will visit the Cricova Wine Factory.
