Angela Merkel’s plane lands at 2:35pm

German Chancellor Angela Merkel will arrive in Moldova on August 22, in the afternoon, at 2:35pm. The official will be greeted at the Chisinau International Airport by Premier Vlad Filat, during an official ceremony, reports Info-Prim Neo quoting a communique from the Government. In 20 minutes, at 2:55pm, Vlad Filat will meet Angela Merkel at the State Residence on 23 Iorga Street, where the two officials will have a tête-à-tête meeting. At 3:10pm, the two officials will participate at the meeting of the two states’ delegations, and at 3:55 Vlad Filat and Angela Merkel will hold a common press conference. Vlad Filat and Angela Merkel will meet with businessmen, at the State Residence, starting 4:20pm. At 5:10pm the German Federal Chancellor will meet with the leaders of Parliamentary groups. Afterwards, Angela Merkel will commute to the Presidential Residence, where, starting 5:35pm, the meeting with Moldovan President Nicolae Timofti will take place. Angela Merkel will give a public speech at the Republican Palace, at 6:00pm, and at 6:35pm she will lay flowers at the monument of ruler St. Stefan cel Mare in the center of the capital. Angela Merkel will leave Moldova on August 22, in the evening.
