The decision of the Central Election Commission (CEC) to request the Chisinau Appeals Court to annul the registration of the Party “Patria” as election runner shows that the CEC and the legal system of Moldova are a cudgel in the hand of Democrat Vlad Plahotniuc, the leader of the People’s Movement “Antimafie” Sergiu Mocanu said in a news conference at IPN.
Sergiu Mocanu stated that Renato Usatyi shouldn’t have been even admitted to the election campaign. “All those who are fed by Filat and Plahotniuc also ate from Usatyi’s palm. They transformed this Usatyi into a Christmas pig and everyone will now applaud his sacrificing and will attend his burning when he is removed from the electoral race,” he stated.
According to the leader of “Antimafie”, we are witnessing the settling of an old score and a masquerade where some give orders to others. What is going on now has nothing to do with democracy and with a legal election campaign. “I don’t know how the elections will take place. Nothing is predictable now as the Central Election Commission acts like an execution platoon,” he said.
The politician also said that all the searches performed at the homes of alleged members of an extremist organization on November 26, where there were found armament and large sums of money, are nothing else but a show. “The arms they ‘seized’ actually belong to the police and this show is like those staged by Vladimir Voronin when he was head of state,” stated Sergiu Mocanu.
“Vlad Filat and Vlad Plahotniuc are the mafia in Moldova. We will do everything possible during these remaining 48 hours of election campaign to warn society about the existing danger.”
The November 27 news conference forms part of a series of news conferences given by Sergiu Mocanu, alongside other members of the People’s Movement “Antimafie”, every day until the end of the election campaign.
