Apa-Canal Chisinau donates money to Japan victims

The employees of SA Apa-Canal Chisinau have donated 200,000 lei to the victims of the Japan quake, Info-Prim Neo reports. “The tragedy that struck the Japanese people did not leave the staff of SA Apa-Canal Chisinau indifferent. The administration, in concert with the company’s trade union committee, decided to provide aid to the Japan quake victims. The 200,000 lei represents donations by the company’s employees,” it is said in a communiqué from the water supplier. The Government of Moldova on March 16 decided to provide 1 million lei from its reserve fund for the persons affected by the calamities in Japan. The Chisinau City Hall allocated half a million lei for the same purpose.
