April 2009 victims may receive payouts today

Civilians and police officers hurt or otherwise affected in the April 2009 disturbances or their aftermath may receive one-off payouts today at the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection. The Ministry said in a press release that beneficiaries should come to get the payments at the Ministry's Financial Department from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Beneficiaries should present their ID cards. The beneficiaries include 102 persons. Payouts range from 3,000 to 7,000 lei. 411,000 lei were allocated from the Government's Reserve Fund for this purpose.
