About 450 persons with disabilities who took part in the armed conflict on the Nistru and families of those who were killed in this war will receive lump-sums of 1,000 lei through local social support funds, IPN reports.
According to the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection and Family, the assistance is provided in connection with the Day for commemorating the start of the war for defending the integrity and independence of the Republic of Moldova.
The recipients of assistance from Chisinau municipality can collect the money from the branches of Moldindconbank, while those from other regions from post offices.
