Tornado Chisinau opened the new Futsal Championship of Moldova with an overwhelming victory. The best team of the previous season demolished Steaua Dental Chisinau 17-0, Info-Prim Neo reports.
For the first time in history, the national futsal competition brought together 14 teams. But the vice champion, ASET Chisinau, is not among them.
In the first match, the holder of Moldova’s Cup Lexmax Chisinau lost surprisingly to Sokol Tiraposl 4-5.
The other opening games ended as follows: Moldlift – Meridian 2-5, Sporting - Elpasso 0-4, Lilcora – PGU 6-4, JLC – KLP 9-4, and Tarsus – Eldorado 7-1.
In the second stage on Saturday, November 27, Lilcora meets Lexmax, KLP – Sporting, Steaua Dental – Tarsus, Meridian – Sokol, Elpasso – PGU, Eldorado – JLC, while Moldlift – Tornado.
