The budget-funded employees will work on Saturday, August 17, in accordance with a Government decision approved earlier. August 17 was declared a workday instead of August 26, which falls on a Monday and is a nonworking day this year. On Tuesday, August 27, the Moldovans will celebrate the Independence Day, IPN reports.
The decision was taken in a move to optimally organize the work time and leisure.
