Sheriff Tiraspol announced the first three transfers made this summer. Moldova’s champion signed three Balkan players to perform in the new season – Slovenian fullback Tadej Apatic and Serbian halfbacks Marko Stanojevic and Sasha Marjanovic, Info-Prim Neo reports.
During the last seven seasons, Apatic, 24, played for NK Domzale Slovenia, while Stanojevic, 23, and Marjanovic, 24, played for FK Rad, and, respectively, Jagodina. They will join their co-nationals playing for Sheriff – Slovenian fullback Miral Samardzic and Serbian striker Alexandr Pesic, as well as the main coach Milan Milanovic, who took over the team recently.
Sheriff will represent Moldova at the Champions League starting with the second qualifying round. The opponent will be known on June 25.
The rival team Dacia Chisinau have five Balkan players in their composition. Macedonia’s Ersen Sali, 24, has recently signed a contract with Dacia.
