Bank accounts opened to help flood victims

Prime-Minister Zinaida Greceanai asks the Finance Ministry to open a special account to gather money from donations to help the flood victims. A first contribution will be done by the Government;s employees which will transfer their one-day gains to that account, Info-Prim Neo has learnt from Government's press unit. The Premier has urged employees of other state agencies to contribute to gather aid for the affected people. Yet the press service does not mention details about the bank account for the money transfers. On Tuesday, the Basarabian Metropolitan Church issued a an appeal to its clergy and parishioners to back the victims in the country's north. The money can be transferred to BC Victoriabank SA, code 280101416, account in MDL 225100001867. The Church's communique reads it will make public the way in which the money will be spent.
