“Barza Albă” absorbs “Aroma”

The joint stock companies “Barza Albă” and “Aroma” merge through the absorption of the latter. A decision to this effect was taken by the Cabinet on Tuesday, IPN reports.

Public Property Agency director Roman Cojuhari said that the absorption will strengthen the company’s market position and will increase the volume of sales at the local level and also exports following the improvement of equipment and, respectively, the enhancement of productivity and quality of products.

After the restructuring, the company’s net sales in 2025 are expected to rise by about 23% on this year, and the market position will be strengthened.

“Barza Albă” has a history of about 80 years. It sells its products to such countries as Australia, the U.S., Romania, Israel, China, Baltic States, Czech Republic, Germany, the CIS countries, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan.

In 2022, JSC “Barza Albă” received the status of object of the national cultural heritage of the Republic of Moldova.
