Communist MP Alexandr Petkov, the deputy chair of the Parliament's media commission, says that the contest announced by Liberal Corina Fusu, also deputy chair of the same commission, to fill the vacancies in the Broadcasting Coordination Council (BCC) is unlawful.
“What was announced to be a job contest is but a personal contest of Mrs. Corina Fusu. All the submissions in this respect are illegal, and so is this contest”, Alexandr Petkov told Info-Prim Neo.
Alexandr Petkov said that the candidates who applied for the job would have to do it once again. “The announcement was illegally made by Corina Fusu on behalf of the Commission. But the Commission didn't even assembled for that”, said Petkov.
He said the parliamentary legal commission would soon convene a meeting to decide on the matter. The contest could be announced anew next Wednesday, February 23.
Earlier Corina Fusu told Info-Prim Neo that so far 21 candidates sent applications seeking the 3 BCC seats on the offer.
