Beauty queen found stabbed to death at home

The winner of a beauty pegeant was found with multiple stab wounds in the bathroom of her apartment. The police had to break into the house at the request of the young woman’s father, who was abroad and had been unable to get in touch with her for several days, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the General Police Commissariat, the 27-year-old woman worked as a dancer at a Chisinau bar. The police found that she was murdered in the evening of November 8. Two suspects were arrested two days later. One of them tried to use his gun, which he possessed illegally, but the police officers managed to mobilize him before. The duo are aged 34 and 50 and both live in Chisinau. The latter had spent 24 years in prison for serious crimes. The younger one confessed to have killed the girl over a debt of €5,000. He is the administrator of a night club. During the search, the police officers found the goods stolen from the victim’s house at a relative of one of the suspects. The bag contained gold jewels, wallets and other things. The suspects are arrested for 72 hours and charged with murder, which is punishable by 12 to 20 years in jail or even life sentence.
