A group of about 150 Moldovan young persons who study in Romania will come to Chisinau on December 1 to celebrate the National Day of Romania or the Union Day. Buses will leave for Chisinau from Bucharest, Ploiesti and Iasi. They are expected to get to Chisinau by 9 AM. In the morning, the students will lay flowers to the monument to Stephan the Great, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communique from the student associations in Romania.
“We will travel to Moldova not to dispute the sovereignty of this state, but only to remind those people who consider themselves Romanians about the significance of the day of December 1 ,” the communique says.
A charity concert for the Tiraspol-based Romanian language high school “Lucian Blaga” entitled “United under the Tricolor” will be held in Bucharest on the eve, on November 30.
The trip to Moldova is organized by the Honor and Motherland Association, the Initiative Group “Romanian Spirit” and the Action Group “Noii Golani”.
