Bloody fight in Chisinau dorm yard

Two young men were seriously injured in a struggle that involved at least 20 persons. It happened in the yard of the dormitories located on Sucevita St in Chisinau last night. Anatol Proca, coordinating doctor at the Chisinau Ambulance Service, has told Info-Prim Neo that the doctors found a man of about 25 and another one of 23 lying on the asphalt. The first was inebriated and had associated traumas, an open cranial-cerebral trauma, a contusion, cerebral coma of the second degree and other injuries. The second man suffered associated traumas, wounds in the cervical and lumbar regions. The police are investigating the case. Two young men were stabbed on Decebal Blvd. last night. One of them, 29, was knifed in the heart region, while the other one aged 28 in the hemithorax and right buttock. Another man tried to commit suicide by stabbing himself. He was rushed to the Emergency Hospital. A 35-year-old man was found in an alcoholic coma on Armeneasaca St, while two women aged 36 and 54 were admitted to Saint Trinity Hospital with mushroom poisoning. Yesterday and last night, the Chisinau Ambulance Service responded to 657 calls, dealing with 53 cases of acute viral infection, 73 cases of trauma, four strokes and other emergencies.
