Body of man who drowned in the Raut not yet found

It is three days of the tragedy that happened in the Raut River, but the body of the drowned man has not been yet found. Twenty frogmen are looking for him from 8am until 8pm. Emergencies Service spokeswoman Liliana Puscasu has told Info-Prim Neo that there is no topographical map of the place that would facilitate the search efforts. In some areas, the depth of the water is 2-5 meters, while in others 4-6 meters. The frogmen use an apparatus with ultrasound. The flow capacity is rather high. A frogman was taken by water several meters downward, Liliana Puscasu said. The tragedy occurred in Vadul-Leca village of Telenesti district on December 13. A girl aged seven and her brother of 12 went sledding on the Raut and fell under the ice. A 10-year-old neighbor came to help them and also fell into the water. The attempts by the elder brother of the two children aged 19 to rescue them failed. All the four drowned. The fathers of the four children also attempted to save them. The father of the 10-year-old boy was taken to the hospital with hypothermia, while the other man drowned. The bodies of the three children and the 19-year-old man were found by the morning of next day.
