The bomb threat at the Buiucani Court of Chisinau turned out to be a hoax. No explosive devices or substances were found there, press officer of the Chisinau Police Division, has told IPN.
Legal action over intentional misinforming about an act of terrorism was taken in this case. The person to blame faces a fine of up to 42,500 lei or 180 to 240 hours or community service, or a maximum jail term of two years.
A man called the 112 Service and said that an explosive device had been planted at the Buiucani Court. The police cordoned off the area and evacuated all the employees and persons who were inside the building.
