Boxes for collecting donations for Ukrainian refugees have been placed in shops in the capital city on the initiative of the Chisinau City Hall and shop chains, IPN reports.
The next few days, those who want to help the refugees will be able to donate products through these boxes.
Mayor General Ion Ceban said the products will be distributed to refugees. “The demand is higher now that the number of persons who come to Chisinau has grown. I thank everyone for involvement and support,” stated the mayor.
There are four more donation points in Chisinau. These were opened at Moldexpo Center (1 Ghioceilor St), Moldova Film (61 Hâncești St); Railway Workers’ Palace (2 Decebal St) and the Technical University of Moldova (9/7 Studenților St).
