Cabinet honors Aureliu Busuioc with moment of silence

Wednesday's meeting of the Cabinet started with a moment of silence in remembrance of author Aureliu Busuioc, whose funeral takes place today. Prime Minister Vlad Filat stated that Aureliu Busuioc's death is a great loss for the literature and culture of Moldova, Info-Prim Neo reports. “Not so long ago, I enjoyed an occasion to talk to him. A great writer and a true intellectual he was. I was greatly impressed by his views on the political and economic processes through which Moldova was going through”, said Vlad Filat . The Prime Minister asked the Minister of Culture and the President of the Academy of Sciences to pay more attention to emeritus people of arts while they are still among us.
