Cabinet meeting to be held in Nemteni

The July 14 meeting of the Government will take place in Nemteni village of Hancesti district, Info-Prim Neo reports. In a press briefing, Prime Minister Vlad Filat said a number of decisions will be taken in the meeting, including creating a commission that will deal with flood clean-up. There will be also set up a larger commission involving representatives of civil society, who will monitor how the aid collected for flood victims is being distributed. The Tax Code and the 2010 state budget law will be amended in order to create conditions for the companies and public institutions that will be engaged in constructing or reconstructing the houses damaged by floods. “The designing works are under way and we hope all those who lost their homes will be provided with dwellings by winter. Tomorrow, we will decide where to accommodate about 120 families on a temporary basis,” Vlad Filat said. He also said the damage caused by the floods have not been yet assessed, but at least 400 million lei will be needed to build new homes for the flood victims.
