The Central Election Commission has initiated the procedure for validating the seat of a member of Parliament. This is Nicolae Plamadeala, who is on the list of substitutes of the Party of Action and Solidarity (PAS), IPN reports.
The CEC took note of the vacancy of the seat of MP in the PAS group after Mariana Lucrețeanu was appointed secretary of state of the Ministry of Internal Affairs a month ago.
Nicolae Plamadeala, 85, is from Chisinau. He is a mechanical engineer by profession.
The MP’s seat is to be validated by the Constitutional Court.
