The Center for Military Culture and History of the Ministry of Defense will be responsible for implementing the state policies on war graves and memorials, IPN reports, quoting a Government decision.
The Center will keep a record of war graves and public associations specialized in the identification, examination and excavation of war graves, will work out research plans in cooperation with specialized public associations and will suggest building, reorganizing, extending or relocating war graves and memorials.
The Center for Military Culture and History provides those interested, at request, with information about war graves and memorials by obeying the legislation on the protection of personal data. It will initiate public contests to design war memorials and commemorative chapels.
