The Government named Minister of Justice Alexandru Tanase, Minister of Finance Veaceslav Negruta and the director of the Center for Combating Corruption and Economic Crime Viorel Chetraru as members of the central commission for checking income and property statements, Info-Prim Neo reports. The commission monitors the incomes and property of the politicians, judges, prosecutors, civil servants and other persons holding executive positions. The executive also approved the decision to create the departmental commission for checking income and property statements. It will work under the State Chancellery and will be headed by Minister of State Victor Bodiu. The commission will be composed of deputy ministers of finance, deputy ministers of justice, representatives of the Center for Combating Corruption and Economic Crime and of the State Chancellery. The commission was created following the reorganization of a number of public institutions.
