Central Election Commission has a new member

Eduard Raducan will replace Igor Vremea on the Central Election Commission (CEC). In the legislature’s December 2 sitting, the new CEC member was sworn, Info-Prim Neo reports. The seat fell vacant after Igor Vremea entered Parliament on the list of substitute candidates of the Communist Party. On September 15, the Constitutional Court validated the seats of MP of the Communist Party’s substitute candidates Mihail Mocan, Igor Vremea, and Ion Ceban, after three lawmakers of the Communist group - Vasili Panciuc, Elena Bondarenko, and Sergiu Filipov – renounced their seats in order to continue holding office as mayors.
