The People’s Republic of China on June 4 provided to Moldova a new consignment of medical masks and protective equipment intended for healthcare workers in a bid to help the country in the fight against COVID-19, IPN reports.
China’s Ambassador to Moldova Zhang Yinghong reiterated his country’s readiness to assist the Republic of Moldova in containing the COVID-19 pandemic.
The donation consists of 100,000 KN95 masks, 100,000 disposable medical masks and 5,000 sets of personal protective equipment that will be distributed to public health facilities all over Moldova.
