Chisinau administration will sue creditors of SA Termocom

The Chisinau administration intends to sue the creditors of SA Termocom because they refused to accept the 5.4% of the debts for heat so as to stop the plan procedure, Mayor Dorin Chirtoaca announced after the Chisinau Council’s meeting, Info-Prim Neo reports. “They claim more, but never said this in 12 years and did not ask modifying the debt payment method. The amount set in 2000 is not enough for them as they want more. They probably thought we will not implement the court decision. But now they look for ways to postpone the fulfillment of the plan procedure at SA Termocom,” said Dorin Chirtoaca. He also said they will ask the court to halt the plan procedure so that things at SA Termocom returned to normality. “We will also demand changing the administrator,” stated the mayor. Earlier, the director of SA Termocom Mihail Cernei announced that the sum of 63 million lei allocated for paying the debts to the creditors was collected and deposited in a special account of the company. The payment of the debts is required for completing the plan procedure at SA Termocom. Otherwise, the heat supplied may be liquidated.
