The benches and garbage bins in the parks of Chisinau will be more thoroughly sanitized given that the Commission for Exceptional Situations on April 27 lifted the restrictions on walks through parks, the Public Amenities Division’s chief Ion Burdiumov was quoted by IPN as saying in the meeting of officials of municipal services.
Ion Burdiumov noted that the actions to disinfect the park benches and bins will help to prevent infection with the novel coronavirus. A Romanian company will donate 20 tonnes of disinfect to communal service enterprises. The donation is to be delivered this week and the disinfectant will be distributed to all the subordinate enterprises.
On April 27, all the communal service enterprises started to mow grass in the managed areas.
