A tax driver from Chisinau aged 48 was attacked with a gas pistol by an individual, who dispossessed him of money and other goods. The incident happened on Mircea cel Batran Blvd. in Ciocana district of Chisinau after midnight, IPN reports.
The police arrested a suspect. This is a man aged 28 from Chisinau. The police found on him the gas pistol that was used in the robbery.
A criminal case was started against the man over robbery. The suspect has a criminal record. He is investigated under arrested and faces 8 to 10 years in jail.
