A Chisinau 17-year-old has been accused of stealing as many as eight autos since the beginning of the year, two of which in July.
The police said the last two vehicles were stolen from the city district of Buiucani on July 11 and 21. The cars were returned to their owners, albeit with the locks broken.
His young age has excused him from pre-trial detention. The teen however faces up to 3 years in prison, but could also get away with a fine.
